Get comfortable as we drive you from hotel le Meridien Etiler through the heart of Istanbul, starting at the iconic Dolmabahçe Palace, the grandiose home of Ottoman sultans. Admire its elegant European-inspired architecture, sparkling chandeliers, and lavish interiors that reflect the grandeur of the empire. As we drive along the scenic Bosphorus coastline, you’ll witness the city’s unique blend of past and present before stopping at the charming Ortaköy, a lively district known for its picturesque streets and stunning waterfront views. Next, we’ll indulge in a delightful lunch by the sea, where you can savor delicious flavors while soaking in the beauty of the Bosphorus. 
 
Next, we’ll cross the Bosphorus Bridge, linking the European and Asian sides of Istanbul. As we make our way over this stunning landmark, you’ll be treated to sweeping views of the Bosphorus Strait and Istanbul’s skyline.  
 
A scenic stop at Çamlıca Hill – Known for its panoramic vistas, this is the perfect spot to catch your breath and capture the beauty of the city below. From here, the view stretches across the Bosphorus, the Golden Horn, and the Sea of Marmara – a sight you won’t forget!

Departure by bus from the lobby of hotel le Meridien Etiler for the European Carton Excellence Award Dinner. After a short coach ride we will enjoy cocktails on the Boshorus before the boat docks in front of the Peninsula Istanbul.

During dinner the winners of the European Carton Excellence Award, the Pro Carton Young Designers Award and the Student Video Award will be announced.

Starting at hotel le Meridien Etilier you will embark on an unforgettable journey through the historic heart of Istanbul, where the past meets the present in the vibrant districts of Galata and Pera ending with the historical landmark Spice Bazaar.

Begin your day early with a stunning panoramic view fromGalata Tower, avoiding the morning crowds. Wander throughthe picturesque streets of Galata and Pera, filled with charming cafés, historic buildings, and cultural treasures. Savor a delicious lunch at a traditional restaurant before experiencing the dynamic energy of Istiklal Street and Taksim Square, Istanbul’s most famous boulevard lined with shops, galleries, and the iconic red tram.

OPTIONAL TOUR - ISTANBUL CLASSICS OLD TOWN

Departing from hotel le Meridien Etiler, we will visit Hippodrome, Blue Mosque , Hagia Sophia & Topkapı Palace. 

Hippodrome, where charriot races were organised during the Byzantine Period. The stadium held 100,000 spectators and featured objects from all corners of the empire. During the Hippodrome trip we will see; The German Fountain of Wilhelm II, Egyptian Obelisk, Serpentıne Column and The Column of Constantine.  

Blue Mosque, the only imperial mosque with six minarets and dating back to the 17th century. The mosque owes its name to the exquisite tiles adorning its interior.

Topkapı Palace, which from the 15th to the 19th century, was the residence of 
Ottoman Sultans. Today it is a museum where you can have the chance 
to see imperial treasury including the Spoonmaker’s Diamond, the 3rd largest in the world, sacred Islamic relics that belonged to prophet Mohammed and his followers. In the Palace visit the Harem Apartments where the sultans lived together with their families.
